MISC53-P1912 USMC Officer's khaki cotton summer service cap. All original except for a quality reproduction bronze EGA. It is the earlier P1912 model with a black visor and chin strap. This pattern was replaced in 1917 with the version having a russett tan visor and strap. The wicker frame has two small sections that are missing. However, as can be seen, this does not affect its overall shape and displayability. It has a "1913" patent label inside. The sweatband is complete, sound and supple. MISC69- A very clean Pattern 1902 US Army Infantry EM's full dress coat. This coat has undergone an extensive restoration, starting out as a NYNG uniform. It is marked inside the sleeve with a NYNG Inspector marks, and a 1910 inspection date. The piping throughout was extremely frayed when I first got it. So, that has been professionally replaced with the closest NOS, period woolen cord that I could find. Hence, the slight difference in the shade between the breast cord and the piping. Approx a 37-38 chest. The NYS buttons were missing, so I had P1902 gilt rimless buttons applied. Finally, there are several minor mothing areas. However, it displays extremely well. For this price it would be a great coat for the collector just starting out, and/or anyone who wants to complete a coat to their liking by applying the proper Infantry insignia and/or rank chevrons and service stripes. VG to Exc. overall condition.
