Overview
The Regional Growth and Engagement Specialist will drive community presence and sales growth for Garlic.com by building strong relationships with both residential and business communities. This role boosts brand awareness and increases customer acquisition by connecting local residents and organizations to reliable, high-speed internet solutions. As the trusted partner in the markets we serve, Garlic.com is the preferred provider for internet and telephone services, committed to delivering the digital connectivity our region needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement and Sales
- Be the face of Garlic.com and the first point of contact for customers and the communities in your region, establishing strong relationships and trust.
- Connect with potential customers in their homes to understand their needs and present Garlic.com’s tailored internet and telephone solutions.
- Close both residential and business sales while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Maintain an ongoing, positive relationship with customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a smooth, customer-focused experience.
- Lead Management and Sales Tracking
- Track leads, manage customer interactions, and maintain a detailed record of all sales activities and follow-ups.
- Submit detailed weekly reports on activities, closed sales, and potential sales.
- Market Knowledge and Positioning
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor services, and local market conditions to effectively position Garlic.com as the preferred provider in the area.
- Use market insights to adjust sales strategies and community engagement activities, enhancing the company’s relevance and appeal within the region.
- Customer Service and Follow-Up
- Deliver exceptional customer service by proactively addressing questions, offering product support, and ensuring a positive experience for all current and potential customers.
- Meetings and Communication
- Participate in weekly meetings with management to discuss successes, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
Desired Experience and Skills
- Sales experience is beneficial, especially in field or direct sales, though not required.
- Backgrounds in customer outreach roles, such as call centers, telemarketing, collections, or appointment scheduling, are also valuable for this position.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with a positive outlook and resilience in overcoming challenges.
- Demonstrated sales abilities with a history of achieving or surpassing sales goals is preferred.
- Physical stamina to engage actively in the community, which may involve extensive walking throughout the day.
- Comfortable working independently and adapting to flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Familiarity with local networks, municipalities, and community organizations in the assigned region is a plus.
- Requirements: Must have a valid California driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for travel within the assigned region. A corporate vehicle will not be provided.
Compensation and Benefits
- Employment Type: Full-time position
- Compensation: Base salary of $60,000 plus monthly commissions based on performance, with additional quarterly and annual bonus opportunities. Annual earnings could exceed $100,000 based on performance.
