Routers and Mesh System Info
For larger homes and homes that may have lots of walls, new wireless mesh systems can triangulate a WiFi signal to all parts of your home. The mesh system is unlike traditional wifi extenders, that decreased your internet speed in half. Because the signal is triangulated you can walk around your home without having to change which network your on.
Router Information
The main piece of equipment the customer is responsible for is the router. The router gives off a wireless signal to all your devices in the home. There are lots of things to consider when buying a router. For example, size of your home and how many devices you need to manage.
If you are experiencing lack of internet signal to parts of your home, make sure that your router is recommended for the sq footage of your home. Some routers can produce further wireless signal than other routers. Someone living in an apartment will need a different router than a family home with 4 or 5 bedrooms.
If you are unsure about what router to buy, give our office a call and we will recommend the right router for you.
