South Valley Internet Incorporated is opening a new division called the IP Bar. The IP
Bar is a coworking space located in our new headquarters in Morgan Hill, CA. Our
team is looking for a bright, personable concierge dedicated to providing outstanding
customer service to assist both the Ip Bar and Svi customers. The ideal candidate will
have a minimum of two years of experience working in a customer service or an
administrative role. The right person for this position will be able to work as part of a
small team but have the ability to work independently and think outside the box.


As the first line of communication and as the face of the organization, the Concierge will
have a professional appearance and demeanor at all times and provide exceptional
service.

Position Summary: The Concierge will represent The IPBAR and South Valley
Internet’s standards of customer service excellence for all guests, callers, and
employees. The position requires a pro-active, organized individual able to perform a
variety of tasks that support the successful completion of company functions, goals,
and objectives. Excellent communication and administrative skills are required.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Essential Duties:

  • Proactively greet all guests regardless of the mode of interaction. Concierge must be
    pleasant, outgoing and present themselves in a professional manner.
  • Conduct frequent checks that all Offices, rooms and desks are clean and ready for
    new occupants
  • All online reservations modules are current and working efficiently. Appropriate
    activities are blocked off to ensure no double bookings
  • Ensure schedules are accurate for proper billing
  • Handle billing discrepancies and member feedback within 24 hours or less
  • Cleanliness of the IP Bar and South Valley Internet facilities
  • Create and organize documents for the front desk
  • Update resources to current revision
  • Be knowledgeable of the following:
    • All IP Bar and SVI services, hours of operation, amenities, etc
    • Be familiar with all upcoming programs
    • Directions to and from the office
    • Guest policies
    • Basic company information
    • Create IP Bar newsletter and website content
    • Responsible for all IP Bar and SVI social media content and posting
    • Ensure smooth execution of all member events
    • Must always maintain a professional appearance
    • Attend and contribute to staff meetings and any other required meetings
    • Update building signage to promote seasonal and holiday hours and closures
      as needed
    • Conduct daily walk throughs of the facility and report issues
    • Perform other duties as necessary to meet business needs
      Knowledge/Experience
    • Minimum of 1 year of Customer Service experience and or as an Administrative
      Assistant
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
    • Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
      • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be a team player with a positive mental attitude
    • Extended periods of standing and sitting are required of this position
      • Must have the capability to lift up to 25 lbs
