Single T1 at 1.5 Mbps

SVI’s single T1 at 1.5 Mbps service is the perfect business solution, designed for small to medium-size businesses that require performance and carrier class reliability for office locations. This service:

Bonded Dedicated Internet Access Circuits

Bonding multiple T1 Dedicated Internet Access circuits increases efficiency. By balancing data traffic across a single handoff Ethernet port, you don’t have to set up separate user groups for each T1. You receive a single set of IP addresses rather than multiple blocks for each T1, making it considerably less complex than the configuration required to implement load balancing. One Internet access point means one firewall, which reduces administration. Bonded T1 service eliminates overtaxing of a single T1 when your other T1s have plenty of bandwidth.

Using Multi-link Point to Point Protocol SVI is able to combine or “bond” multiple T1s together to provide a total throughput of 3 to 12 Mbps of bandwidth.

If one of the T1s fails, the data is automatically routed over the remaining T1s.
