Network Outage Update

The cause of the outage on Monday 06/06 was a hardware failure on one of our two primary switches.  It was "de-stacked," meaning one stopped communicating properly with the other. The second switch is working fine with no issues. SVI is working with the manufacturer to get this piece of equipment replaced, and more importantly, to be assured this won't happen again. Quick Way to Fix Minor Internet Connection Issues

Most simple connection issues can be fixed by rebooting your router.

  1. Unplug router’s power cable from its outlet
  2. Wait 20 seconds, then plug the power cable back in the outlet
  3. Give the router a minute or two to turn back on.
